Broomball is a recreational ice game that is similar to hockey but played with brooms and a ball instead of sticks and a puck. Broomball is an incredibly fun and exciting game that is enjoyed by players of all ages and skill levels. It is a great alternative to traditional sports like hockey, providing a unique and thrilling experience that is sure to entertain.
Broomball Rental Rates

Standard Private Rental Rate
(before or after daily operations)
$365 for one hour (additional hours may be purchased). Additional rates & fees may be additional for events over 100 people.

Requirements needed:

A 14-day notice is required for staff scheduling purposes unless a written request is approved.

50% deposit down to hold the reservation day & time. The remaining balance is due at the beginning of the event.

Signed Ice rental agreement (contract).
-
A commercial Certificate of general liability insurance covering $1,000,000 shall be submitted. Owner (KKR Real Estate Finance Trust By: Rink Management Services Corporation, as its agent 9414 Charter Crossing Mechanicsville, VA 23116) & RMSC shall be named as an additional insured on Customer’s commercial general liability insurance. Lloyd Center Ice Rink, 953 Lloyd Center, Portland, OR 97232 shall be included in the certificate holder box.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Upon seven (7) days advance written notice, the Customer may cancel this agreement and receive a refund of all rental payments made through the date of cancellation.

In the event of an untimely notice of cancellation, the Customer shall be liable for the full rental amount less credit for all amounts previously paid.

No ice time is guaranteed until the contract is returned signed with the deposit.
Private Rental Code of Conduct

All guests are required to stay within the facility grounds. Anyone caught walking around the mall, keeping doors open, or letting people in may be asked to leave by rink staff or mall security without a refund.

Guests who do not follow the code of conduct may be asked to sit out for 10 minutes or to leave the premises without a refund.

All rink activities are assumed inherently dangerous and undertaken at the guest’s own risk.

Helmets are required for all participants on the ice. Helmets from home are recommended.

Beyond helmets, protective gear is not provided. Protective equipment brought from home is recommended but not required.
• No guests are allowed on the ice during ice resurfacings
• No food or beverages allowed on the ice (grey floor is okay)
• Guests must follow the guidance provided by the rink staff
• No sitting on the railing or ice surface
• User groups are responsible for cleanup, damages, and conduct of participants and spectators on & off the ice during private facility rentals
• Those participating in facility activities assume all inherent risks and responsibilities whether spectator or participant
• Lloyd Center Ice Rink and/or Management are not responsible for unattended, lost, or stolen articles
• Guests who use profanity, tobacco, or alcohol inappropriately and/or create a disturbance may be asked to leave the ice rink premises for a period of time at the discretion of facility management
• Guests and Spectators shall not place foreign objects on the ice surface
• Video and still photography are taken continuously at this facility. By using this facility, you grant Lloyd Center Ice Rink full rights to use the images and reproductions for advertising, publicity, or other purposes to achieve the organization’s goals
• Lloyd Center Mall code of Conduct incorporated herein by reference

Private event parking is located on the top floor of the Halsey Street parking garage. Please click the link below to be redirected to our parking instruction page. All guests and visitors are required to park at this location to enter the building.
